Marcel Burgler
Marcel D.P. Burgler, CCIM - (Certified Commercial Investment Member) is primarily involved with commercial real estate development and brokerage. In 2000, he started in the business with his partner Eric Trierweiler at Prime Development. His background as a real estate investor and owner allows him a unique broker perspective. As a real estate developer, his focus in the last few years has been on student housing and apartments, both with Ferris State University as well as Wayne State University. Studio One Apartments is Marcel’s latest mixed-use building in Midtown Detroit. In 2012, Marcel started PRIM Property Management, a multi-family property management firm targeting projects over 50 units.
Marcel has four children, is a native of the Netherlands and in a previous career worked in advertising both in Europe as well as in the U.S.

Eric Trierweiler

Eric T. Trierweiler is well known and respected commercial real estate broker with nearly 30 years of experience advising clients. He’s entrusted with many assignments; retail site selection, industrial and investment based opportunities. He enjoys many long term loyal relationships with both local and national clients advising them with their Michigan decisions and objectives. Eric joined Prime Development in 1998 as an associate and acquired the firm in 2000 along with business partner, Marcel D.P. Burgler. He is a charter member of the Commercial Alliance of Realtors (CAR) and actively served on the Board of Directors and as an officer. Eric has also been elected to serve as the local director for the MLS Board and Finance Committees, while also chairing special state-wide task force initiative on behalf of CAR. He has been the local representative of CAR to fashion a state wide commercial MLS for MiCAR. A graduate from the University of Michigan in 1987, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business, one of the nation’s highest ranked business schools. Later that year he married Becky, also a U of M graduate and the owner of Afendoulis Cleaners & Tuxedos, a respected Grand Rapids based business for nearly 70 years. They are blessed with over 30 years of marriage and have two adult children; Daniel & Tina now pursuing life, love and happiness as a 4th year medical student and art director for Grub Hub. Eric attends Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Grand Rapids and served as a trustee for ten years, including two terms as Parish Council President. He has also elected to the Board of Directors at Cascade Hills Country Club and served as President in 2012. Other interests include travel, golf, boating, upland hunting and enjoying his wife’s performances in the GR Civic Theatre productions.
